Regional Representatives
Northern Rep: Rachel Cavill
Midlands Rep:
We don't currently have a Midlands Regional representative. If you think could step in and fill the gap, why not introduce yourself by sending us an email or posting on our general discussion forum.
Southern Rep: Joshua Htet
My name is Joshua Htet, and I was born on February 7th, 1984 to a Methodist family. My birthplace is Mandalay, Burma (Myanmar). I am an undergraduate international student in Southlands College, University of Surrey Roehampton, in London. I am sponsored by the Southlands College Methodist Centre. I am in my second year at the university, doing a combined honours degree in History and Business Studies.
I spend most of my free time participating in Southlands Chapel activities, as an outreach co-ordinator and MSL leader. Along with my colleagues from the college, I attended the MSL weekend in Sheffield, and it was my second time working with MSL. I accepted the offer to be a member of the Support Group, and I was appointed to be a regional representative for Southeast England. Though I am an international student, I always love to be part of the Methodist Community here in England or anywhere I go. Therefore, I will try to be a good asset to the MSL group.

Scottish Rep: Valtteri Mujunen
My name is Valtteri Mujunen. I am 20 years old and have just started to work as the Scottish representative to the Methodist Student Link. I am however not originally Scottish and live here because of my studies. I come from Helsinki, Finland where I still spend quite a bit time of the year. Here in Scotland I live in St Andrews and am on my first year at the university where I study Theology and Italian.
In Finland I am member of the Finnish-speaking United Methodist Church and represent the church in quite many places which include the European Methodist Youth Council and the Ecumenical Youth Council in Europe. You can easily say that I am very interested about the global Methodism and ecumenical dimensions. And I am a very passionate Methodist! Here in Scotland I am a member of the Dundee Methodist Church where I try to go monthly but usually I attend the University Chapel here in St Andrews, which is much closer. Golfing and societies such as JazzSoc and EuroSoc take a lot of my free time at the uni.
At the moment I am also trying to found a new Christian society with couple of other interested people and the Chaplain to act as an alternative to the Christian Union. I am in no way against the Christian Union, but still think that it misses a couple of really important points of living as a Christian in modern Britain. I really hope to offer my input in making the Scottish Methodist students to be stronger and bolder to live as Christians in university. Jesus said that: "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life."

Wales & West Rep: Katherine Laws
I am currently Pres of the MethSoc here in Aber. I love being involved and running the society and getting to know people (and getting them involved!).
I'm from Holbrook (near Ipswich in Suffolk) originally and have been involved with the local Methodist church from day one of my life (and probably from before day one!).
I'm a "Winnie the Pooh freak" according to my Mum and like all things pre school. I subscribe to the student stereotype of Pot Noodle being a stable part of my diet (along with cakes from the Minister's wife).
Graduate Representatives

Stephen Cooper is one of the graduate reps on the MSL Support Group.
Greg Griffiths
I'm Greg Griffiths, I graduated from Aberystwyth with a degree in Computer Science in 1999, I'm now working for a large US coporate doing web systems work. My main role on the support group is advocacy within the Methodist Church and IT (including this site!!). I spend most of my time tinkering with either my personal site or the GenerationCross site.
